GOOD NEWS MORE REFERALS HAVE BEEN SENT

Very exciting news, China has updated their website and referals have been given up to groups logged in upto August 9, 2005!!!! It's exciting to see that we are moving along, even if it is at a snail pace.....it's better then standing still!

I am not sure if our agency group #73 is part of this batch, I have not received any update from our agency yet!! Keeping my fingers crossed because that would mean only 5 more groups in front of us!!!!

It's been a busy week! I got a horrible cold the day we left for our weekend getaway! I fought the cold all weekend. Matthew was sick too, so he missed the camping show weekend! Bob and I went with my parents and as always had a great time with them.

Received an email from our agency on Monday letting us know of three special needs babies available. Bob and I had discussed special needs in the past and although that is an option for us we are going to re-evaluate that come the beginning of the new year.

We've heard that the wait is going to stablize at around 14 months! That would bring us into September 2007!! That seems so far away but at the same time not so far away! I can't help but think that our baby is already picked for us! Is it possible to love someone so much that I haven't even met yet???

Spending the weekend in the mountains!
Bob and are going to Hershey, PA this weekend to the largest RV Show in the North East. My parents are retired and want to look at an RV so that they can travel! We will be meeting my parents and my nephew Matthew there on Saturday and spending the night! Matthew is very excited to be going away without his parents!

I don't think I've mentioned Matthew in this blog yet! Actually, I am still trying to learn how to blog! :) Matthew is my sister Rhonda's son and he is Seven years old. They live in Pennsylvania which is about two hours from me! I love this little boy so much and even on an off day for me he can make me laugh! Of course, he keeps asking when my baby is coming! If only I knew!!!

I will be sure to post pictures of Matthew from our trip when we get home!

Here is a picture of our "little girl" Bonnie Bell, Bonnie is going to be 12 years old September 13th and is a Scottie. She is eagerly waiting the arrival of her new play friend!

January 2006 had the last of three group home study appointments
March 2006 had our home visit with our social worker
April 2006 went for our INS fingerprinting appointment
May 2006 received INS approval
June 2006 dossier sent to china
July 6, 2006 officially a waiting family!!
