Back from our long weekend

Bob, bonnie and me spent four days in PA visitng with my parents. All the leaves have changed color and some trees are losing there leaves. This is such a beautiful time of year, I must admit my favorite time of year. I love the brisk air and all the beautiful colors the trees are.

We took our family picture for christmas cards while we were there, let's hope I like at least one of them. Let's also hope that this is the last family christmas picture we will be taking without Emma. I can not bare to think I will be sitting here this time next year and still waiting for her!

BROWN ENVELOPE HAS ARRIVED!

We received our brown envelope in the mail. I emailed my agency coordinator to let her know and she asked me for our case number. So I emailed her the number and as I am typing it, I am thinking "wow this number sounds very familiar" but couldn't figure it out. The next morning I woke up and I realized what the number was. I am a New York State EMT and my certification number is the EXACT number of our case number. I've had that EMT number for the past 17 years. I took it as a sign and that we are right were we are suppose to be! I must admit it was very exciting and I was very emotional about it. I must hold on to the little things during this very long journey.

BACK FROM VISITING BOB'S PARENTS

We've been away for a few days visitng Bob's parents in Phoenix Arizona. My mom puppy sat for us, and brought Bonnie back home on Tuesday! I think she wanted to go back to grandma's! She looks like she might have gained 10 pounds while there!

Well, we are glad to be home and will post pictures when we get them developed.

3 MONTH ANNIVERSARY!!

Today we are offically "waiting" 3 months! If all goes as we hope we only have 9 more months!!!

I've got fingers, eyes and toes crossed hoping!!!!

Happy Weekend

Well, it's finally Friday and it has been a rough week! But very excited that the weekend is here and it's going to be a beautiful fall day in NYC. Bob and I plan on going to PA to visit my parents and sister and nephew! We are hoping to do some Apple picking and pumpkin picking and maybe visit a haunted house! Of course I first have to make Bob believe that it's only make beleive and no reason to be scared! LOL

The CCAA is on vacation this week because of the Harvest Moon Festivial so no news to report about that. Tonight Bob and I plan on looking up at the full moon and saying a pray for our little girl. Although we aren't sure she is even born yet, we still think about her everyday.

Halloween is my favorite holiday I think mostly because of the great tempertures and the beautiful colors of the trees changing. I had hoped this would be our last halloween with Emma, but with recent "rumors" I am not so sure!

Well, enough feeling sorry for myself for now! I must do some work so that I can start the weekend and have some fun!

Here is Bob standing behind the New York Presybterian Hospital Ambulance...He was doing a special event at 49th and Lexington Avenue in NYC so I got to go by and say hello!

Don't you just love the white pants!!! New York Presybterian Hospital is the only hospital in NYC that still wears the traditional white pants as part of their uniforms. Not very easy to care for! LOL
